General terms & conditions

These terms and conditions form the basis on which you can visit us and our website.

Hamabeads.com Limited is a registered company, which sells Hama products.

This website is owned and operated by Hamabeads.com Limited of Unit 1, Old Wool Warehouse, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, IP33 3PH.

We have taken care in the content of this website to ensure that all products have been described accurately and that all prices are correct.

Our terms and conditions are not intended to limit any rights you might have as a consumer.
We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions whenever it is appropriate to do so.

The contract between us & you

With the exemption of trade customers (with whom we have made prior agreement), we must receive payment for the whole price of the product(s) before your order can be accepted. Your payment represents an offer on your part to purchase the product(s), which will be accepted by us when the product(s) are dispatched. Only at this point is a legally binding contract created between us.

We reserve the right to cancel your order at any time prior to dispatch. On the extremely rare occasion this happens, we will notify you by phone and/or email and issue a full refund as soon as possible.

You will become the owner of the product(s) that you have ordered when they have been successfully delivered to you. At this point, we will no longer be liable for their loss or destruction.

Stock availability

All orders are subject to acceptance by us and stock availability. If we cannot fulfil your order due to an out of stock product, we will contact you as soon as possible by phone and/or email. You will be given the following choices:

  • to have your order put on hold until the product(s) become available again
  • to receive your order in two parts with the out of stock product(s) to follow
  • to swap the product(s) for alternatives
  • to have a full refund on the product(s) including the delivery charge if no other product is being sent to you

In circumstances when a product goes out of stock, we will aim to remove it from our website as soon as possible until it becomes available again, unless it is a discontinued line.

Payment

We accept payment from all major credit and debit card providers, as well as PayPal, and we will take payment from your chosen account upon receipt of your order. You will receive a confirmation email from us shortly afterwards. All payments on our website are securely processed by Stripe.

The price payable for any product that you order is as set out on our website. All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rates, where applicable, and are correct at the time of entering information.

We display all prices in UK pound sterling and, if you are an international customer, your payment will convert into the relevant currency using the exchange rate of your payment provider at checkout. We find this is the fairest way to show our pricing as it enables the customer to choose their exchange rate depending upon the payment method they use.

Before placing your order, make sure you tell us which country your order will be delivered to at the top of our website. This will ensure you see the relevant VAT and delivery charges as you shop. Visit our delivery page for more information.

All refunds are issued to the same credit card, debit card or PayPal account used to purchase the product(s) and it may take up to 10 working days for the money to show in your account. Visit our returns page for more information.

We only accept payment on account by trade customers with whom we have made prior agreement. These customers can find our account details and payment terms on their invoice.

Trade accounts

We can only accept UK-based hospitals, schools and registered clubs as trade customers.

Trade accounts are subject to the following terms and conditions:

  • Full payment must be made strictly within 30 days of the invoice date
  • Payments not received within 30 days are subject to a 10% late payment fee and the account will be frozen until payment is received
  • Trade orders will not be eligible for free UK delivery and will therefore be charged £4 for a tracked service
  • Cheques are not accepted
